Social Media Manager
When you add social media to your digital marketing strategy, you open up opportunities for engagement with past, current, and future followers of your business.
Let's face it, making time for social media marketing is hard. Between running your business and enjoying time with your family, where do you find time to post on Facebook, Instagram, and don't even think about the time doing videos for YouTube!
So let's take a step back real quick, why should you even bother with social media anyways? I mean there are like a million platforms and you may not even use any of them!
The fact of the matter is in this day and age you must go to where the people are. We are no longer in the days of phone books where you list your business in one place. Between SEO, social media, PPC, video, and even Craigslist, people are all over the place and it's hard to be everywhere at the same time. So what can you do?
To start, by being on even one social media platform like Facebook and increase your exposure online. You can talk about your products and services, engage with people, and even pay for Facebook ads to get your products or services in front of your target market.
So even though I agree that the more you can do the better, where are you going to find the time?
This is where a social media manager like myself would come into play. I would acquire profiles, optimize your existing profiles, updates graphics, add bio's, add content and then start a posting schedule. Not to mention manage your profile to help with comments, customer support, and reputation management.
Imagine this… customers have questions for you and ask about your product on your Facebook page. If you are busy at a job or working, who will answer the customers? What about if someone is writing bad stuff on your Facebook posts, who will maintain your reputation while you are away?
Again, this is why hiring someone like myself or a social media marketing agency will help you grow your business using social media!
